Weekend Wrap-up (Jun. 29-Jul. 5 2014): Azalea, Grande, and 5SOS

Let's do it!

The BET Music awards happened this week, with a surprising guest performer, Iggy Azalea. She joined T.I. on his song "No Mediocre" and then performed her hit song "Fancy".

Ariana Grande's "Problem" has reached #1 on both the Pop and Rhythmic Songs radio airplay charts. This marks Grande's first time topping either chart. Azalea's guest spot on the track also makes her one of three artists to dethrone herself on the Pop Songs radio chart.

Grande has also collaborated with Zedd for her first EDM single, titled "Break Free". She called the experience of working with Zedd "fantastic and super-experimental". Listen up here.

YouTube sensation Mike Stud's new album, Closer, has hit #1 on the Trending 140. Seems fitting for an Internet star.

Bassnectar has his first #1 album on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart, with his eighth charted album, Noise vs. Beauty. His new single, "You & Me", is also climbing on the Dance Songs chart, from 34 to 24.

Finally, 5 Seconds of Summer are set to tour the UK and Europe in 2015. This was announced via Twitter yesterday. They will be visiting Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and Italy.
