Top Ten Tuesday - Billboard Hot 100 Review: March 14, 2020

MOVEMENT!

Finally, the slightest bit of movement in the Top 10. It felt like especially the Top 3 was staying stagnant forever. But now we have a new Top-3 entry with Dua Lipa, and I couldn't be happier that she's gaining that second wind after her first breakthrough.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, we have Lady Gaga's Top 5 debut with "Stupid Love". I don't imagine this will stick around in the Top 10, but I expect a radio push for this classically radio-friendly song to keep it above water. Beyond that, no real big changes other than "ON" expectedly falling off and "Someone You Loved" switching places with "Intentions". Not exactly a big fan of either of those songs, but it's definitely time for "Someone You Loved" to go (and "Memories" to follow suit).

Predictions:

As "Say So" surges in all categories, I'd expect it to make its Top 10 debut sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, I also expect "Intentions" to stick around, despite having no real reason to other than name recognition. Whatever replaces it, I hope next week will be the week that "Memories" finally falls out. Please?
